It helps you accomplish what’s meaningful and important to you every day. But what makes To Do unique is the personalized daily planner feature, My Day. Like Wunderlist, we have smart lists where you can see your planned or important tasks in one list. We freshened up the look of To Do, so it feels simple, yet modern. It’s not just about the backgrounds, though. Want to give your eyes a rest? To Do has dark mode across Android, Windows, Mac, and coming soon to iOS. In addition, you can choose a different background for every list. With the new version of To Do, you can choose from a wide range of backgrounds, including the beloved Berlin TV tower that was a feature in Wunderlist. It’s still the simple and elegant app you love, but now with more options to customize, so you can tailor it to suit yourself and your lists. We polished the design of To Do by reducing the header size and adding in more color to give the app warmth and personalization. We’ve come a long way since those first Wunderlist days and today is one more step in our evolution. We’re grateful for your input and the support of both our Wunderlist and To Do communities. From shared-list task assignments, list groups, and file attachments, to the Mac app and even more product integrations, we took your feedback and created the app you wanted. Reminders help you complete your tasks in time Instead of trying to remember, you can set up reminders and due dates for your tasks in To Do. When you want to delegate a task in a shared list, type to assign it to someone.īetween multitasking and the number of things going on at any given time, it’s easy to forget the tasks you want to complete. Live Tiles give you the latest status of your favorite to-do lists. Keep an eye on multiple lists from the Windows Start Menu. You can turn this option on from the Settings page, where you can also pick the badge notification type that best reflects your workstyle. Live update to badge notifications in the taskbar Added to My Day and not completed: The badge notification will show a count of all the tasks that you’ve added to My Day but haven’t completed yet.Due today and overdue (default): The badge notification will show a count of both your tasks that are due today and the ones that are overdue.We have two options for app badge notifications: That way, you can ensure your important tasks don’t fall through the cracks. This visual reminder helps you keep an eye on your tasks even if you’re busy with something else. With app badge notifications, you can get a sense of how many outstanding tasks you have without opening To Do. You can turn this option on in the Settings page of To Do, or right-click on the app when it’s open and select Pin to taskbar. Whether you’re adding a new task or updating an existing one, a single click is all it takes. You can now pin the Microsoft To Do app to your taskbar to quickly access your favorite lists. In the first installment of our Six Tips series, we’ll focus on Windows 10 devices. To Do is also integrated with the Microsoft 365 suite of applications, including Outlook and Teams.
